The Island of Sark; Part Two

Our first stop was the estate of the Seigneur. While the house is not opened to the public, the lovely gardens are.

The hydrangeas were as big as dinner plates, and roses abound in this delightful paradise.

After touring the gardens, it was off to explore more of this jewel of an island. I am sure there must be difficulties in living in such a remote place, no matter how lovely, but I did harbor a fantasy of moving here.
