Dartmouth; Buckfast Abbey

After our train ride we were hustled aboard motor coaches, in fact, so intent was our guide of keeping to "The Schedule" we had no time in the gift shop at our train ride's end-bummer! Then it was on to Buckfast Abbey, home to Benediction monks who are famous for their beekeeping. We must have run into some horrible traffic, because instead of the promised hour at the site, we were given 35 minutes. Just enough time to visit the gift shop, take a quick inside peek of the church, and grab a quick bite at the tea house. We had scones with real clotted cream and strawberry jam-Heavenly.
